I accept commissions on a case by case basis. Project considerations include:
- Project size
- Complexity
- Pattern availability
- Deadline(s)
- Budget
The above criteria will determine whether I feel comfortable taking on your commission; I work full-time, so it is not always feasible for me to accept every commission query.
Pricing
Commissions are priced based on labor, materials, and patterns used(if relevant). I cannot give an exact quote due to the nature of commissioned projects, but a range will be provided based on the project type.
Before beginning a large project, I require a 50% deposit based on the quoted range. This goes toward the final cost, and final payment will not be more than the quote. Large projects include: blankets, doilies, clothing such as sweaters and shawls, and complex plushies.
My rate is $20/hour.
